Training Confidential Counselor – English (Amersfoort)

This LVV-acknowledged Confidential Counselor training takes place in Amersfoort over four days, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Coffee/tea and lunch will be provided. The teaching material and certification are also included in the price and you will receive Het Dilemma spel worth € 69.50.

This training is suitable for people who want to professionally fulfill the position of internal or external confidential adviser. With the optional ‘Verdieping Integriteit’ you broaden and deepen your knowledge and you can, for example, also act as a confidential counselor or be the point of contact for reporting integrity issues.

Topics and skills
During the confidential counselor training, you will learn how, as a confidential counselor, you can best receive/guide people with complaints about undesirable behavior as well as with reports relating to suspected abuses or integrity violations. More info regarding the training (in Dutch).

Combi-deal
In case you’re taking the combi-deal, day five is the In-depth Integrity day, during which you will, among other things, gain (more) knowledge about the concept of integrity within organisations, the regulations and the law/function of the House for Whistleblowers. You will also learn how to separate fiction from fact and how to form an opinion about the seriousness of the report. Learn more about this bijscholing Verdieping integriteit (in Dutch).

LVV-Accredited Program/training

After completing the course, you may apply for personal certification with the professional register Hobéon SKO, if desired. This certification is required if you wish to become a member of the professional association LVV (Landelijke Vereniging van Vertrouwenspersonen). More info on this topic (in Dutch). 

Students of this training must have attended 100% of the training time (exemptions based on existing knowledge and experience are not possible), have completed all practical assignments with a pass, have passed the final test and have paid the course fee in full . These requirements also apply to students who do not wish to join the LVV professional association afterwards. If the final test is not completed positively, we offer a one-off free resit.

If attendance on the 2nd or 3rd course day is not possible due to force majeure, LIVP will endeavor to offer opportunities to catch up on the course day at an additional cost.

• It is not possible to deviate from the offered order of days
• The course must be completed with the final test within 6 months from the start date
• If it is not possible to make up for the course day, a homework assignment can be made at an additional cost and discussed in a personal session with a trainer
• If it is not possible to make up for the course day, and the student does not choose to make and discuss a homework assignment, the associated costs of early termination will apply (see our Terms and Conditions in Dutch)
